KAL|Dance, a stage where emerging dancers and choreographers share their craft in a professional, inspiring setting.

This mixed bill performance brings together the elegance of classical ballet, the bold spirit of contemporary dance,

and the incredible talent of Kalamazoo’s vibrant arts community all on one stage.

This year’s theme, Fragments of Light, honors the idea that every dancer holds a spark of something extraordinary.

When those sparks come together from students, young professionals, and local artists alike they create something radiant.
KAL | Dance will feature Classical and Contemporary works from Ballet Kalamazoo, The Space Dance Company, Ballet Arts Ensemble,

Western Michigan University Dance Department, guest choreographers, and outstanding student artists from the region.

It is a unique opportunity for Kalamazoo's most dedicated dancers to expand their artistic voices, connect across disciplines, 

and perform in a dynamic, professional setting.
